The Soledad Club

Located across the street from Kate Sessions Park, the Soledad Club was built in 1963. There are several rooms within the building, useful for different types of functions. The outside deck has a beautiful view of the ocean and bay.

Mission Beach Woman’s Club

Located only a few steps away from Mission Bay, the Mission Beach Women’s club was founded in 1926 in order to provide educational enrichment and service to the community. Today, the Clubhouse also functions as an event rental space for weddings, corporate events, banquets, and any other sort of party. This venue space is perfect for any party that wants a waterfront view and a cozy environment.

ZLAC Rowing Club

Home to the world’s oldest all women’s rowing club, ZLAC Rowing Club offers a unique setting for your next event. Located on Sail Bay on the north shore of Mission Bay in beautiful San Diego, ZLAC Rowing Club was designed by Lilian Rice in 1932. With traditional Craftsmen style, this venue has a unique redwood interior, historic rowing décor, and scenic view of Mission Bay, the clubhouse is the ideal setting for weddings, birthday parties, corporate retreats and meetings, and so much more!

Garty Pavilion at The San Diego Rowing Club

One of San Diego’s  best kept secrets, this magical bayside setting with its singular contemporary design is quickly becoming the location of choice for wedding ceremonies, receptions, rehearsal dinners, bar and bat mitzvahs, private parties and business events. With its 12 foot tall sliding glass wall opening to sweeping views over Mission Bay, this indoor/outdoor space has an ambiance all its own.  Twilight introduces spectacular sunsets and shimmering reflections of the surrounding night lights on the bay. Events also have the added bonus of fireworks from nearby Sea World.  With a combined indoor/outdoor area of about 2000 square feet, the Garty Pavilion comfortably accommodates both large and intimate gatherings. The Garty Pavilion is only available for summer months (Memorial Day to the end of September).

 

The Club Room and Boathouse

Located on Coronado Island, the Club Room offers unobstructed views of Glorietta Bay and the Coronado Bay Bridge. Sitting 75 people, the Club room is optimal for smaller, more intimate personal or professional gathering. The venue is beyond the ordinary, with vaulted ceilings, disappearing glass door, and direct beach access.

The Coronado Community Center

The largest and most popular venue of the Coronado Community Center, the Nautilus Room boasts of an expansive view of the Glorietta Bay, the Coronado Golf Course and the San Diego Coronado Bridge. In addition, conveniently located adjacent to the Nautilus Room, our Glorietta Bay Promenade is the perfect site for you to say your “I-do’s”! Enjoy the exposed beam ceilings, ambient lighting, and views of Glorietta Bay from this highly desired site.

The Thursday Club

The Thursday Club was formed in 1921 when four young women proposed the beginnings of a club that would combine social activities with worthwhile civic and benevolent projects. It wasn’t until 1927 when The Thursday Club was granted the deed to a large parcel of land on a choice spot in the Sunset Cliffs area of Point Loma by Mr. R.E. Mills of Pantages-Mills-Shreve Company, that they would realize their dream of having a clubhouse to call their own. Today, the Clubhouse is renowned as a beautiful San Diego wedding and event venue with timeless Spanish architecture and expansive ocean views.

Birch Aquarium at Scripps

Located high on a bluff with dramatic ocean views, Birch Aquarium at Scripps is a unique and engaging venue for any event. Martin Johnson House

The Martin Johnson House is a historic oceanfront cottage nestled under lush cypress trees with breathtaking views of the Pacific coastline.

Built in 1916, the rustic cottage was one of the earliest additions to the Scripps Institution of Oceanography campus. Once used as a home for Scripps professors and their families, the refurbished cottage and grounds now offer a charming coastal setting ideal for social events ranging from business meetings to wedding receptions. Indoors, the Martin Johnson House provides a small kitchenette with refrigerator, sink, counters, and a microwave that are partitioned off from main space. Outdoors, there are sweeping views of the Pacific Ocean, La Jolla Cove, and Scripps Pier, as well as small surrounding grassy areas with bench seating, and shade from a tall cypress trees.
