The Perfect Ranch Style Wedding

ELiza and Jon  w: viewThis Ranch Style wedding was made even more perfect because it was our owner, Vicki Hamilton’s son Jon’s special day.  A “Crown Point Family” event to say the least.  You could see that both Jon & Eliza’s personalities & sense of style were integrated into all the special details.  The destination a VERY special place, The Mountain Meadow Resort located at the heart of the Trinty Forest, tucked high in the California Mountains, almost 14 hours from San Diego.  And the same place that Jon, the groom, proposed just one year earlier.
JonEliza006 copyAlthough we all feel part of the Hamilton family, it was still an honor for the staff of Crown Point to not only be able to attend this amazing wedding but to have also fully catered and organized the event, including transportation of tables, chairs, linens and china. The wedding menu was elegantly rustic and the guests celebrated the night away high on LOVE and with full bellies of herb stuffed tomatoes, panzanella salad, kale & brussels JonEliza060A copysprouts salad, stuffed chicken thighs & gnocchi.

San Diego Hot Spots, Must Do’s For This Summer

Bar food creations like bourbon bacon-wrapped garlic corn dogs and truffle mac and cheese.  Asian influences of the neighborhood are also represented thanks to Korean-style seafood pancakes, “Galbi” short ribs, salt & pepper chicken wings.

While there’s no official sign out front yet, look for their chalkboard menu, then follow the driveway and the intoxicating smell of fresh made waffles.  They are serving all of your sweet and savory favorites like chocolate infused with strawberries or candied bacon, goat cheese, and avocado, all atop a Liege waffle.

Stone Brewery has expanded their craft beer empire yet again, this time with the addition of the Petco Park-adjacent Stone Brewing Tap Room. Decked out with gargoyles and their signature rustic design, the bar is pouring 16 frosty Stone drafts with tasters, flights, pints, bottles, and growlers available.

The masterminds from Consortium Holdings are at it again.  Rare Form is a deli/bar hybrid in the East Village. The menu is a list of flavor-packed savory sandos stuffed with pork belly, grilled swordfish, chicken schnitzel, and other delicious proteins.
